Aged Gin

Aged or Matured Gin - is gin that has been barrel aged. Barrels are most often oak, but some producers use barrels specially created from juniper wood. Barrel ageing tends to be associated with other spirits, primarily spirits such as whisky, which are aged for many years. In the case of aged gin, the maturation period is much shorter usually a few weeks to a few months.
