About us
The idea of creating a gin distillery was born a few years ago in the head of Miłosz Szatka - a bartender and great gin lover whose dream was to own his own distillery. Exploring the topics of creation and production, in March 2021 he decided to join forces of passion and experience with a well-known Gliwice entrepreneur - Marek Sliboda, who helped make this long-standing dream come true.
Mariusz Plucinski, the chief technologist with vast experience gained in distilleries in faraway Scotland, also joined the project. After many months of preparation, the goal was realised.
We are very pleased to boast of our dream transferred from thoughts, imaginations and plans to reality. We invite you into our world, where science mixes with alchemy and the aromas of herbs and fruits from all over the world waft through the air.
The Balkan heart of our distillery
The heart of our distillery is a 200-litre copper alembic, which we imported directly from the Serbian manufacturer DES SUBOTICA. It is equipped with a 3-shelf distillation column and an infusion botanical basket.
The distillation process takes up to 14 hours and is fully controlled by our technologists. Thanks to meticulous control, the highest quality botanicals and, above all, proprietary recipes, we obtain premium products with exceptional flavours and aromas.
Tessellis - what does it mean?
Tessellis is a word derived from Latin. It means mosaic. It is a kind of metaphor referring to the production of gin, botanicals and other strong spirits. The quantities and types of botanicals need to be perfectly matched so that they fit together and form a unity. So we refer to the mosaic throughout the concept from our label to the premium products whose labels and packaging are decorated with dedicated mosaics.
Unique bottles with a unique interior
We create our spirits exclusively from natural ingredients of the highest quality. Exceptional bottles, in which the magic of our spirits is enclosed, are unique and look great both in a home bar and on a restaurant table or among other spirits behind a bar display. Exclusive design and great taste guarantee that our products will also work as a unique gift or present.
