Toy Store is the first speakeasy-style cocktail bar in Katowice. What does that mean? The history of this type of bar began in the 1920s in the USA. It was the time of Prohibition, which meant a total ban on the production and sale of alcohol. Prohibition developed a black market of meeting places for the elite, and the secret of their location was whispered only directly into each other's ears.

One of the most famous speakeasy venue owners was Al Capone himself, who reportedly made $2 billion in the first year of prohibition!
